Red Bull Playstreets with Smith

Bad Gastein - Salisbury, Saturday 14th February 2009
The health resort as natural obstacle, a cheering crowd of 10,000 alongside the course and 20 distinguished new school skiers from 4 different continents – the spectacle was perfect at the Red Bull PlayStreets in Bad Gastein. Australian Russ Henshaw won the competition and Austrian riders Tobi Tritscher and Fabio Studer completed the podium at the third edition of this unique contest.
Smith riders David Lesh, Markus Eder, Fabian Kronig and Paddy Graham showed off their skills...unfortunately they didn’t reach the super final for the podium, but they totally rockd the Red Bull PlayStreet.
The event was a huge success and a special thanks goes out to Smith Star Nico Zacek who emceed the event...he got the crowd going crazy throughout the contest.
After the event, spectators were treated to an all Smith rider autograph session in the First Descent Shop right at the beginning of the course right on top of the Smith step down feature.
